Absecon Lighthouse is host­ing a Kids Camp every day from 10am to 3pm during the week of July 21 – 25 for kids ages 8 through 12. The cost is just $150 and includes five days filled with fun. Highlights of the week include a 2 hour Dolphin watch cruise, making kites and flying them on the beach, making butter, apple juice & ice cream, learning Victorian customs, touring Atlantic City Aquarium, art expression, bal­loon toss, bean bag activity, animal identification, life saving, history, volleyball, and of course, climb­ing the 228 steps to the top of historic Absecon Lighthouse! Absecon Lighthouse, New Jersey’s tallest, is hosting a Happy Hour at Flying Cloud Restaurant at Gardener’s Basin and a Sunset Cruise for Absecon Lighthouse guests aboard Atlantic City Cruises “Cruisin 1,” departing from the Basin. This special event will take place on Thursday evening, August 14th. The Happy Hour will be held beginning at 6pm, and the Sunset Cruise will depart at 7:15pm. The calm, backwater cruise will include sites of the Lighthouse, the Inlet, and Brigantine Bay. Tickets are $25 for the cruise, light appetiz­ers, and a cash bar.
