As a native of Ventnor, I have returned after a half century hiatus. Ventnor is where my heart lives. The plan is to see patients until the day I die -- “very old, feeling as young as possible.” My American medical training gave birth to a passionate curiosity about what could be done to prevent and reverse our natural aging process. I call this Internal Plastic Surgery, also called Integrative or Anti-Aging Medicine.

After achieving gold medal status in ice dancing, I taught ice skating for eleven years, had two healthy daughters, began a Ph.D. in Psychology, took a sharp turn and completed the University of Pennsylvania Pre-Medical program, received a medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and served a three year residency in Family Medicine at the Virtua Health System.

Like the Ginzu knife commercial, there’s more. To practice Integrative Medicine required thousands of hours of further training with European Endocrinologists to learn hormonal replacement, medical weight loss, mesotherapy, etc. The learning curve spiraled exponentially as I listened to patients with this newly acquired learning.

I authored my first book, What Your Doctor May Not Tell You About Weight Loss, and my second book will be published in 2009. Presently, there are twenty chapters. The What Is Your Food IQ chapter is fifty pages. My present fascination of neuropsychiatric advancements requires hours of daily studying and attending medical conferences.

Other passions include my daughters Cara and Sam, a future doctor and lawyer, whom I love to listen to because their brains and hearts are so beautiful. The remainder of my time is spent practicing International Ballroom Dancing with my loving partner, being a doc at the Coventry House, playing with Bob the hopefully future Therapy Dog, studying, writing, lecturing, and being on the beach and boardwalk. My daughters hear my mantra to make their passion be the work they do. I am a happy woman.
