At Your Door Marketing is independently owned and a uniquely designed busi­ness that has kept the con­sumers both the advertiser and the homeowner as top priority. The business owner is required to watch every penny they spend in advertising and monitor their results. The consumer or homeowner is managing a dif­ferent pot of money – they have to insure they get the most out of their paychecks – hence cou­poning! We continue to do our best to help both participants to achieve exemplary results.

Since I am not a franchise owner, I don’t have a book of possible solutions to help me in a slow economy. The book might say: advertise in five different venues, send this direct mail piece, go to this price point, or have this sale. Without a book to refer to I listen to people, ask questions and develop network­ing/brainstorming groups with people like you who know what’s going on and what makes cus­tomers buy or react. Then I take all the information and map a plan of what to try next.

I already have the cost under control, 11 cents a home and am hitting my target, mid to upper income households. What can I do additionally or different? This year I have added Business to Business deliveries for the busi­ness whose target is just business owners. We have also recently added private deliveries – your piece alone on the front door or step for in most cases, less than a stamp.
