The skin is our largest, most exposed organ. It protects us and heals us. An entire industry has developed to address our need for professional and comprehensive skin care.  This aspect of body care is called Aesthetics.  Aestheticians are specially trained in the care and treatment of skin.  Unheard of just ten years ago, aesthetics is a rapidly growing field.  The reason for this growth is simply awareness. People of all ages and ethnicity realize the importance of caring for their skin. The skin protects and heals us; it is our obligation to take care of it.

The key to healthy, youthful, glowing skin is proper ph balance. Regardless of how “oily” one thinks their skin may be, when stripped of its ph mantle, the skin becomes surface dehydrated. This results in congested, slick, “acneic” skin.

There are a variety of treatments that improve the overall appearance and health of the skin.  Micro-dermabrasion, glycolic-acid peels, aromatherapy and collagen facials, manual extraction and the use of cosmetic skin care products, are all beneficial methods to care for your skin. Paul Scerri, Murad and Bio Elements are products that address potential problems such as wrinkles, comedones (blackheads), milia (white heads), pore size, hyper-pigmentation, skin tone, oiliness and dehydration.

When a client comes in to see me, I stress the importance of care at home along with professional facial treatments.  Typically, a person should receive a facial every four to six weeks. Some clients require more frequent services depending upon their individual problems and/or concerns.  I have been in the skin care and body work industry for over thirteen years, and my experience is extensive in all skin types and ages. Aided by my knowledge, experience, and education as an Aesthetician, I provide exquisite European facials and body treatments. I am a licensed professional with in-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, pathology and histology. Taking courses to stay current in the latest research breakthroughs in skincare is of the utmost importance. With knowledge, education and experience I am able to provide masterful services.
