Chocolate. What a wonderful thing to be passionate about. For the genuine Chocoholic, just thinking about chocolate can evoke a pleasurable response. Some people crave caramel; others whipped cream, or even banana splits. Chocolate is, different. It is one food that people feel passionate about.
With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, you might want to give Steve Barile, The Pastry Prince a call and order something extraordinary for that special someone. Some of his specialties include an “Edible Chocolate Valentine” made with over a pound of dark chocolate and finished off with homemade chocolates and fruit, is truly the perfect gift. Otherwise you might want to try a “Chocolate Cheese Mousse Cake, the almost famous Flourless Chocolate Cake, or a Chocolate Banana Foster’s Cream Pie”. Of course you can also get chocolate covered strawberries, miniature pastry or fresh baked butter cookies.
According to Nestle, 22% of the world’s population prefers Milk chocolate, while 10% like White Chocolate, and a whooping 68% prefer Dark Chocolate. And did you know that, the higher the Chocolate liquor the more intense the chocolate flavor will be.
