A dusting of snow blankets our two-acre lawn. Cat paw tracks cover our wooden porch, as kitties find respite from winter weather underneath. The tower stands as sentinel watching over the south inlet, as Revel Entertainment takes shape on the neighboring block, and people walk by in their parkas to get to their destination. It’s quiet here now, as the summer tourists are back at home.

That’s where you come in, dear reader. It’s quite a struggle to get through the “off” season of winter, financially. On a brisk sunny day, the view from the top is just as staggering and beautiful as a summer day. Won’t you please come and visit us, and find out what makes Absecon Lighthouse so special, and so memorable? There isn’t a local person who comes here who doesn’t remark on some past aspect of how or why Absecon Lighthouse was a part of their youth… “Oh, my cousins grew up in this neighborhood and we used to visit them and play on the lawn.” “Our school was on Massachusetts Avenue and we used to visit the old turtle that lived here.” “I grew up right across the street and there was a drugstore on the corner.”

Do you have a memory of the South Inlet and Absecon Lighthouse? Or would you like to make a new memory with your family? Then, please come and see us for a great family outing, or trip down memory lane!
