I still remember the first day I had lunch at Celina’s Mulberry Market and Grille in Galloway. It was one of our few rainy and chilly early fall days. Right away, I noticed they served only homemade food. Because good soup is like an endangered species, in our area, I ordered Mediterranean vegetable soup with anticipation. It was fantastic! Before my sweet potato black bean burger arrived, I made sure to order a quart of the soup to take home. The burger was great and just one item on a list of other great vegetarian dishes.

Celina’s also has great traditional burgers, along with turkey burgers, cheesesteaks, reubens, and chicken sandwiches, to name just a few. In fact their menu is extensive in many areas. After my first lunch I know why Celina’s was so busy, and why they had three locations. Dinner is another fine dining experience. The honey pecan salmon and the eggplant parmesan are my favorites. But as I surveyed customers leaving with takeout, or finishing their meals, I heard them praise Celina’s homemade crab cakes, various wraps, and salads with chicken, shrimp, or grilled salmon. Don’t forget dessert! Celina’s has their own baker whose creations will amaze you. I’ll just mention chocolate crème pie, triple berry tart, Oreo cheesecake, carrot cake muffins and my wife’s favorite key lime pie.

Breakfast is my final frontier left to experience, and I plan to do it one Sunday soon, now that they are open in Galloway. Celina’s is wonderful from top to bottom, great food, and great service, in the friendliest of atmospheres! Visit Celina’s other two locations ... Celina’s Expresso, Shore Mall, Egg Harbor Township; Celina’s Cafe and Catering, The Plaza at Center Point, Northfield. Now is the time to order your complete Thanksgiving Dinner. Serves 8-10 guests and will be ready to pop in your oven on Thanksgiving Day. Let Celina’s do the cooking!
