“The Mainland Auxiliary enjoys finding new and creative ways to raise funds for the hospital,” said Linda Stanton, president, ARMC Mainland Auxiliary. “We are very proud of our history and our contributions to the Mainland Campus. The Pike-a-thon gives the community an opportunity to participate in and enjoy a day of activities while benefiting the fragile babies and their families ARMC’s NICU serves.”
The Mainland Auxiliary celebrated its 35th Anniversary May 1. The Auxiliary recently announced a $35,000 pledge to ARMC’s Mainland Campus, which will bring its total contributions to the hospital to more than $2 million since its inception in 1974.
Through jewelry, uniform, book and bake sales, the annual Holly Day Luncheon, as well as other special events and activities, ARMC’s Mainland Auxiliary raises funds for a number of patient services throughout ARMC including the Center for Childbirth, Heart Institute, Intensive Care Unit and Radiology Department.
