- Unique Little Boy!

He is a young boy, just about a year old, and only weighs about 25 pounds. Scraps LOVES to play with his toys; tennis balls are his favorite. Our trainer is working with him to get him ready to be a great addition to his future family. He is a wonderful dog and loves to be around people. He has tons of energy and will be a very devoted playmate and companion. Scraps loves to go for walks with our volunteers, play and get petted. What a handsome boy am I! Sweet and lovable, too. I came to the shelter shortly before my brother, Elmo, was adopted, and Elmo told me if the staff here at Beacon could find him a wonderful Forever Home, they could do the same for me. I am so excited, I can hardly wait! I’m only about one-and-a-half years old, so I love to play! I’m even good with other dogs and cats!

Mikum

- Adult, Male, German Shepherd Dog mix

Hello, I am Mikum (pronounced MEEKUM). I am a big strong boy who loves to play. Because of this, I would do better in a home without small children, as I don’t want to accidentally knock a small child over and get blamed for hurting him or her. At three years old, I am still a big child myself. I would make an excellent running partner. I’m so versatile, I’ll enjoy a huge variety of new activities. Come hang out with me and take me for a run!
