Pesia Romeo
Growing up in Israel and moving to New York as a teenager, Pesia was raised by hard-working parents who put in seven-day work weeks to provide their children with the best that America had to offer. Instilled with this work ethic, Pesia owned her first restaurant in the Bronx by the age of 24. Within a year, customers were lined up outside for Pesia’s fresh-cooked meals. She eventually moved her business to Manhattan and then sold it, deciding at that point to completely switch it up and move into the cosmetic business. She landed a job selling makeup in a store in Soho, despite the fact that she did not even wear cosmetics, and within four years, she was serving as national training director for the company. Soon, driven by her entrepreneurial spirit, she launched out on her own again, opening a makeup and nail care shop in Staten Island Mall. When it was time for yet another change, she launched the Pink Corset in Smithville, NJ, quickly earning a reputation as one of the best fitters in the area. A vegetarian with faith in vitamins and exercise, Pesia lives by her belief that beauty starts from the inside, a theory that certainly works if your outfit starts with a luxurious set of lingerie from the Pink Corset.

Christy Spero
A South Jersey native, has an interesting story. Several years ago she suffered from rosacea and couldn’t find cosmetics that were good for her skin. At that time there was a huge void of all-natural products in the cosmetic industry, except for a few highly priced lines. So she started researching and experimenting with various formulas of iron oxide, mica and other minerals in her own basement until she came up with a product she wanted to wear. Her passion took her from there and led her to the creation of Artemis Cosmetics, a complete line of eye shadows, blushes, foundations, lipsticks and more-all of her own formulas. Her prices are very competitive-there is no need to go to CVS when you can support a local Atlantic County resident by visiting her website and ordering samples starting at only $.75! Christy is also a certified skin care therapist so she can really help if you need any questions answered.
Christy is a breast cancer survivor of 2 years. She volunteers with the American Cancer Society, Look Good Feel Better program. She loves photography and skin care.
Christy currently resides in Mays Landing with her husband and has two children.

Mary Davis-Fonte
Mary has lived in the Atlantic County area for nearly 21 years and says she wouldn’t trade the beach or her dance shoes for anything in the world. Mary, the seven-year business owner of “The Academy of Ballroom Dancing”, located in Northfield, feels that although ballroom and Latin dance lessons may seem to be something to have to wait in today’s tough economy, is actually one of the best deals out there. Let’s look at what you get: the fun (we all deserve to have a little fun in our lives), the mingling with other couples and singles, the romance of holding someone in your arms, the workout, the stress reliever, and the excitement of knowing that confidence is just around the corner are just a few of the plus sides of stepping into Mary’s beautiful 2200 square foot dance studio. The combination packages of both private and group lessons, along with monthly dance parties, all add up to the one-stop “in thing to do.” Mary contributes her positive attitude to the continuous popularity of dance and always being surrounded by music and upbeat people. Try it, I’m sure you’ll agree. Mary enjoys dance (of course), the beach, mini vacations, music and the drive to touch more people through dance.

Nancy M. Rice, Esquire, CELA
Nancy lives with her teenage daughter and awesome dog in Ocean City, New Jersey, having recently moved there from Cherry Hill, where she raised her two children. Her son is a Sophomore at Penn State University.
Born in Camden, New Jersey, Nancy attended Pennsauken High School, then Chestnut Hill College majoring in Psychology and went on to Villanova Law School, graduating in 1986. She spent the first five years of her legal career working for a large firm, specializing in Wills, Trusts, Estates, and Elder Law, then left to open her own practice in 1991, which still focuses entirely on elder and disability law issues. Nancy is the owner of a three-attorney firm with offices in both Haddonfield and Ocean City, NJ.
Nancy makes a special effort to help clients feel comfortable as they work through difficult issues such as financial planning for disabled spouses or elderly parents, or tackling their own estate planning issues. She realizes that it is difficult and, at times, seemingly impossible to trust someone to help with these types of matters. She can often offer free consultations to give her clients a chance to get to know her, and can advise them of the costs of her services at the end of the first meeting.
